Twice the advice
West Nottinghamshire College will be staging two information events in February, aimed at people wishing to study full-time or university-level courses.
Two open evenings will give potential students the best advice about West Notts College
The events, which are being held at the college’s Derby Road campus, are the first information events of the year and will see tutors, current students and college support services come together to offer the best advice on current courses.
The Higher Education information evening, which is aimed at adults considering studying at university-level, will take place on Wednesday 4 February from 6-8pm. Information will be available on the range of programmes that can be studied at the college, including business, travel and tourism, criminal justice, fashion and engineering.
Staff will be on-hand to discuss student finance and the college lifestyle and what to expect when studying an HND, HNC, foundation degree or top-up degree.
This event will be followed by the college’s general open evening on Thursday 5 February from 6-8pm. The evening is designed to help school leavers, young people and adults wishing to study from entry level up to level 3 in both hands-on vocational and academic courses.
Tutors will be available to discuss full-time programmes in catering and hospitality, film and television, childcare, music, A Levels and more.
