A double dose of comedy at Create Theatre
It will be laughter galore at Create Theatre this month as two comedy performances take to the stage as part of the Nottingham Comedy Festival.
Kicking off with the merriment will be The Noise Next Door – the UK’s leading improvisation group who have taken the comedy circuit by storm. Following sell out gigs at the Edinburgh Festival, this lively five-piece comes to Create Theatre on Sunday (22 September).
Their distinctive, off-the-cuff comedy will be using audience suggestion to inspire funny scenes and songs. The show starts at 7.30pm and tickets cost £5 or £7 on the door.
Continuing with the hilarity Create Theatre will be hosting its third stand-up comic night on Wednesday (25 September) with well-known comedians James Redmond, Paul Sinha and Vikki Stone.
The trio, who have featured on shows such as Never Mind the Buzzcocks, Celebrity Come Dine With Me, Flash Prank and numerous radio shows, will be bringing their own topical humour to the theatre – set to be a sell-out show.
Adam Pownall of Create Theatre said: “We’re delighted to be hosting The Noise Next Door who are nationally-renowned for their comedy improvisation antics, and our stand-up comics nights just go from strength to strength. All thanks to our relationship with the Nottingham Comedy Festival organiser Helen Stead.”
Tickets for the stand-up comedy night are £15 and the show starts at 7.30pm. To purchase tickets for both shows, visit www.createtheatre.co.uk or call 01623 413363.
