Television comics set to raise the roof at Create Theatre
Another rib-tickler is coming to Create Theatre next week as three TV comics bring laughter to its ‘Stand-up Comics’ spectacular.
This is the second stand-up comedy night hosted by Create Theatre on Wednesday (3 July) and features television’s Ellie Taylor, Paul Tonkinson, Piff the Magic Dragon plus support acts.
These rising comedy stars are well-known for appearing on TV shows such as 8 out of 10 Cats, Penn and Teller, Show Me The Funny and Live at the Comedy Store.
Theatre co-ordinator Adam Pownall said: “If our first stand-up comic night was anything to go by, this is due to be another great success.
“We’re delighted to be hosting some of the funniest new faces from television and this trio are certainly some of the UK’s top rising comedy stars and we’re proud to welcome them to Create Theatre. I’m particularly looking forward to seeing Piff’s four-legged assistant; the adorable Mr Piffles”
