College café goes Stateside
People can dine out in American style at West Nottinghamshire College’s BAY6 coffee bar and café next week.
From Monday to Friday (20-24 May) students will be serving a range of American themed dishes including sweetcorn chowder with corn bread for £1.50, barbeque ribs with a sour cream and chive dip for £1.80.
For those with a larger appetite there will be cheeseburger and fries with salad for £3.
For dessert there are chocolate and strawberry milkshakes made with ice cream for £1 or American blueberry pancakes with ice cream for £1.50.
Food will be available from 10.00am to 2pm, with tea, coffee, cakes and sandwiches also served during these times at the centre in Woodhouse Road, Mansfield.
People can just turn up although parties of eight or more are advised to book a table on 01623 413027.
BAY6 is open to the public for hot and cold refreshments and provides a practical training and working environment for students with learning difficulties or disabilities.
