Production date change at Create Theatre
Mansfield’s Create Theatre is advising people of a change to a previously-advertised date for family show Slapdash Galaxy.
Originally scheduled for this Saturday (11 May), it will now take place on Monday 3 June.
Its 7pm performance time remains the same.
Slapdash Galaxy tells the tale of brothers Sam and Junior who, in fleeing their war-torn planet, embark on an epic journey across the galaxy, battling bad guys at warp speed.
Presented by Bunk Puppets and Scamp Theatre, it features award-winning performer Jeff Achtem who brings magic to the stage in the form of shadow puppets created from bits of rubbish.
The show, which boasts a spectacular 3D finale, is recommended for children aged seven and over.
Tickets cost £8 and £5 for concessions, with family tickets (two adults and two children) priced £20. These can be purchased by calling the theatre box office on 01623 413363 or online at www.createtheatre.co.uk
Those that have already purchased tickets but unable to make the re-arranged date should contact the theatre, based at West Nottinghamshire College’s Derby Road campus, for a refund.
