College opens doors for advice evening
West Nottinghamshire College will be holding an open evening this week for people to get advice on all courses offered at the college.
On Thursday (21 March) people can visit the college’s Derby Road campus from 6-8pm to talk to current students and tutors about getting a university-level qualification and discover the flexible and affordable programmes available at the college.
Students can achieve HNDs, HNCs, foundation degrees and full honours degrees at the college which are validated by the University of Derby and Birmingham City University. The college also provides specialist summer school workshops to prepare students who have never studied at university-level before.
Visitors can also find out about all full-time programmes available in areas such as music, multimedia design, catering and hospitality, construction and engineering as well as A Levels and apprenticeships.
There will be an opportunity to take a look around the college’s new facilities which includes a fine dining restaurant, new hair and beauty salons and a spa.
More information can be obtained via the college’s website at www.wnc.ac.uk or on the freephone number - 0808 100 3626.
