College café to serve up a banger bonanza
Students at Vision West Notts' BAY6 coffee bar and café and will be serving up a range of dishes next week in celebration of British Sausage Week.
British Sausage Week runs from 31 October to 6 November and is backed by local butchers, supermarkets, schools, and chefs across the country.
Students at BAY6 will be serving up sausage and lentil soup with a roll and butter for £1.50 and a sausage in a bun with onions and mushrooms or sauté peppers for £2. Also on the menu is sausage and leek pie with potato wedges and salad for £2.50 and sausage and pasta bake with salad for £2.
Food will be available from 10.00am to 2pm Monday to Friday, with tea, coffee, cakes and sandwiches also served during these times at the venue in Woodhouse Road, Mansfield.
BAY6 is open to the public for hot and cold refreshments and provides a practical training and working environment for students with learning difficulties or disabilities.
People can just turn up although parties of eight or more are advised to book a table on 01623 413027.
