Students to give a little eggs-tra help
Kind-hearted students from West Nottinghamshire College will be giving up not only their time this week, but their chocolate too!
Over the last few weeks, the college’s Students’ Union have been encouraging learners to donate their Easter eggs for children at King’s Mill Hospital.
Seventeen eggs have been kindly handed over to James Stafford, president of the Student’s Union, and he and colleague Thomas Holmes will present the hamper of eggs to the youngsters tomorrow (15 April).
James said: “We wanted to arrange this collection to bring communities together and to help bring joy to children who are spending time in hospital during the Easter break. We’re really proud of our students giving up their sweet treats.”
