Christmas gigging for music students
Music students from West Nottinghamshire College will be rocking the stage at The Intake Club, Mansfield, next week in the lead-up to Christmas.
Next Tuesday and Wednesday evening (14 and 15 December) students from the first diploma, extended diploma and national diploma year two in music courses will be putting on an impressive show covering past and present hits across rock and pop.
They will perform covers by Take That, Led Zepplin, Kings of Leon, Smashing Pumpkins, Motorhead and many more.
Tickets for both shows at the club in Kirkland Avenue cost £3 and can be purchased from Carole Littlewood at the college's media studio on Thoresby Street or by calling (01623) 413310. Otherwise, tickets will be £3.50 on the door.
Doors open at 7pm both nights.
The shows’ manager and music tutor, Dan Woodward, said: “We’ve got such a great line up of acts this year and by having all our music students together we’ll be seeing a wide-range of musical talents. Both shows promise to offer something for everyone to enjoy.”
