College’s support teams deliver excellence
Student support teams at West Nottinghamshire College are celebrating after securing a national quality standard for the advice it offers to learners.
The careers and employability team, the call centre and the information team can now proudly display the Matrix standard, which is the national quality standard for any organisation that delivers information, advice and/or guidance (IAG) on learning and work.
The college recently went through an official inspection of their careers IAG provision and passed the inspection with flying colours in all areas. The inspection recognised the teams’ hard work and dedication to achieving and maintaining the highest standards in the delivery of IAG to its customers.
Careers IAG consultant, Glenn Wilson, said: “It’s tremendous to receive the recognition for the high quality of our services and it’s very rewarding to have all of our hard work acknowledged with this national standard.
“Our students can be confident that they will continue to be given information, advice and guidance of the highest standard.”
