College qualifications for Nottinghamshire travel agent
West Nottinghamshire College congratulated seven members of staff at Nottinghamshire travel agent Hyde-Barker Travel yesterday (8 December) after achieving their NVQ Level 2 in Customer Service qualifications.
The qualification was delivered on-site over a period of six months and has seen the whole of the company now trained to NVQ Level 2 standard courtesy of the college’s business information technology and community education school of learning.
Hyde-Barker Travel employees from the Mansfield, Ollerton and Southwell branches received their certificates of achievement at their annual staff development event at Floral Media in Caunton, near Newark.
College tutor Siobhan Johnson said: “We have enjoyed working with Hyde-Barker Travel and to have an entire company focussed on achieving their customer service qualification is really impressive. Having up-to-date customer service skills will ensure they continue to deliver the very best, tailor-made service in line with their customers’ needs.”
Hyde-Barker's managing director, Robert Turner, said: “This is a great achievement to have all of our staff now trained in customer service and we've really enjoyed working with West Notts.
