Counselling students pass with flying colours
Counselling students at West Nottinghamshire College will be awarded their certificates of achievement next week (10 December), after four-and-a-half years’ of hard work.
The NVQ Level 4 Counselling group will celebrate their achievements with staff at the Derby Road campus at an evening ceremony.
All nine members of the group are fully-qualified counsellors and two are now members of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP).
Associate director of learning for health, care and education, Janice Hill, said: “I am tremendously proud of our counselling students who have worked tirelessly to complete their studies. It will be a pleasure to congratulate them formally at their celebration event next week.”
Some members of the group have already secured employment and others are going on to higher education or seeking employment within a counselling role.
