Comedy comes to Create
Theatre goers can save some funny money if they book early onto a stand-up comedy night at West Nottinghamshire College’s Create Theatre in Mansfield.
Comedy night comes to Create Theatre
Comedians Ivo Graham, Suzi Ruffell and Lost Voice Guy will be gracing the stage on Thursday 22 October.
Create has been lucky enough to secure some of the country's best upcoming comedians. Two of whom have featured on Comedy Central's Live at the Comedy Store and performed at BBC 3's Edinburgh Comedy Festival.
Since entering the world of stand-up at the tender age of 18, Ivo Graham has flourished winning award after award, including being the youngest recipient of the So You Think You’re Funny award. Ivo has also taken his comedy mainstream, appearing on Comedy Central’s Comedy Store, and performing at BBC3’s Edinburgh Comedy Festival.
Suzi Ruffell has appeared on Comedy Central’s Comedy Store, and performed at BBC3’s Edinburgh Comedy Festival. She has also written sketches for TV shows such as 8 out of 10 Cats, The Last Leg, and Stand up for the Week!
Lost Voice Guy is a truly unique comedian, with a delivery like no other. Known as Lee to his friends he has cerebral palsy, and as a result has lost his voice. This hasn’t deterred Lee from following his passion of stand-up comedy and has adapted well, using a text-to-speech app on his iPad to communicate with his audience. Lee has many celebrity fans, including Matt Lucas.
