ABOUT THE ROLE

Reporting to the Head of Human Resources, you will be responsible for providing a highly responsive and professional level of service to specific business areas at the college.

You will work as a Business Partner with the department’s stakeholders and in doing so provide advice, guidance and support in relation to all aspects of Human Resource Management, to include employee resourcing, reward, relations and development, in line with legislative requirements and good practice. 

An integral aspect of this role is to understand the strategic and operational objectives of the business areas that you are assigned to and working in partnership with line managers, ensuring that their Human Resources are appropriately aligned to meet business needs. 

Your main focus within the 6 months will be to deliver effective recruitment solutions to ensure targets are met to support areas of business growth both locally and nationwide. 

This is a demanding and challenging role that requires attention to detail and the ability to manage a large and varied workload whilst ensuring that all deadlines are met.

You will be experienced in all areas of HR practices and procedures, with a track record of being able to support managers to deliver their HR strategies, specifically with regards to innovate recruitment methods.
