In a wonderland with Alice at theatre
A well-known tale is coming to Create Theatre for families to enjoy this July as Alice chases the White Rabbit down the hole to Wonderland.
Alice in Wonderland by Uncontained Arts will have a double showing at Create Theatre
Uncontained Arts, who are based at Derby Theatre, will be bringing an up-to-date and comical version of Lewis Carroll’s Alice in Wonderland to the stage as they tour the UK.
The show, on Sunday 6 July, will have two showings at 11.30am and 2pm and will feature all of the familiar characters from the original story when Alice finds herself in Wonderland.
Theatre co-ordinator Adam Pownall said: “We were amazed with Uncontained Arts when they visited Create Theatre last year to perform Robin Hood and His Very Merry Men, so we know our audiences are in for a laugh-a-minute treat.
“Tickets are selling faster than expected so we urge families to buy quickly!”
The show is recommended for children aged three upwards and tickets cost £6 each or a family ticket which admits four people costs £20.
