Sherwood Forest comes to Create Theatre
Nottinghamshire’s most famous hero is brought to the stage in an exciting production at Mansfield’s Create Theatre next week.
Robin Hood and His Very Merry Men by Uncontained Arts brings the legendary outlaw to life with music and puppetry on Sunday (30 June) at performances at 2pm and 7pm.
The performance which is run in association with Buxton Opera House and Derby Theatre sees Robin and his merry men rob the rich to save the poor in a laugh-a-minute adventure.
With a host of colourful forest characters and buckets of mud, this show is perfect for all the family.
Theatre Co-ordinator Adam Pownall said: “I’ve worked closely with Uncontained Arts in the past and saw their last theatrical adventure ‘Treasure Island’ at the 2012 Edinburgh Fringe Festival.
“They really are masters of providing family theatre; using comedy, song and puppetry. Be prepared for laughs for the whole family and maybe a little spray from water pistols!”
To purchase tickets which cost £8 each and £5 for concessions or £20 for a family ticket of two adults and two children, call 01623 413363 or visit www.createtheatre.co.uk
