Comedy troupe back at college by popular demand
West Nottinghamshire College’s Create Theatre is welcoming back Nottingham’s premier improvised comedy troupe to its stage in February.
‘Mission Improbable’ will be treating an audience to their sharp timing, quick wit and high energy performance styles on Friday 8 February.
The comedy troupe, which performed in Create last September as part of the Nottingham Comedy Festival, will combine improvised elements of stand-up, sketch comedy and improvised theatre, responding to audience suggestions to deliver their fast-paced, anarchic show.
The show is often likened to such popular TV shows as Whose Line is it Anyway? or more recently Mock the Week.
Theatre Co-ordinator Adam Pownall said: “I found out about the MissImps from their regular performances at the Glee Club in Nottingham and booked them in to Create as soon as I could.
“They were so popular with the audience and student cohort here that inviting them back was an easy decision to make; so much so I booked them as the first performance of our second season.”
Tickets for the show cost £6 per person or £5 if purchased before 1 February with concessions costing £4. To buy tickets visit www.createtheatre.co.uk or call 01623 413363.
