Tasty tapas at college café
Students at West Nottinghamshire College’s BAY6 coffee bar and café will be serving up Spanish-style food next week (28 January – 1 February)
Mediterranean delights on the menu will include a selection of tapas including patatas bravas – a spiced potato dish, baguette with mushrooms and alioli and stuffed tomatoes – filled with boiled eggs and garlic mayonnaise, all for 70p.
There will also be spicy sausage and cheese tortillas available for £3.
Diners can finish off their meal with an Empanada de Manzana – an apple tart in a 'doughy' base for £1.
Food will be available from 10.00am to 2pm, with tea, coffee, cakes and sandwiches also served during these times at the venue in Woodhouse Road, Mansfield.
People can just turn up although parties of eight or more are advised to book a table on 01623 413027.
BAY6 is open to the public for hot and cold refreshments and provides a practical training and working environment for students with learning difficulties or disabilities.
