Highland fling at college café
Students at Vision West Notts' BAY6 coffee bar and café and will be serving up traditional Scottish fayre next week.
On the menu is Scotch broth for £1.50, Bridie pie – a Scottish version of the Cornish pasty – served with potato and swede patty and gravy for £3 and apple butterscotch pie for £1.
Food will be available from 10.00am to 2pm from Monday 28 November to Friday 2 December, with tea, coffee, cakes and sandwiches also served during these times at the venue in Woodhouse Road, Mansfield.
BAY6 is open to the public for hot and cold refreshments and provides a practical training and working environment for students with learning difficulties or disabilities.
People can just turn up although parties of eight or more are advised to book a table on 01623 413027.
