College event shows it’s never too late to learn!
Adults who are thinking of studying at college will have the chance to take those first steps at West Nottinghamshire College’s adult education advice event this month.
The adult education advice event will be held at the college's Derby Road campus
The advice event, created specifically for those aged 19 and above, is being held on Tuesday 18 July from 4.30-6.30pm at the college’s Derby Road campus in Mansfield.
Aimed at individuals who are considering returning to education, wanting to take a higher qualification, or simply wanting to try something new, the adult advice event is designed to guide them through the process.
On the night, people can discover more about the range of full and part-time adult courses from entry-level through to Level 6. The types of courses which can be enquired about include community courses, work-based learning programmes, professional qualifications or even GCSEs and A-Levels.
There are also a range of free online training programmes available for over 19s which can be applied for on the night.
Advisors will be available to speak to on the night to talk about career pathways as well as funding and student support for adult courses.
