HE Fest and fun!
West Nottinghamshire College is staging a summer festival for those looking to go on to university-level studies.
The college's Derby Road campus will be the place to be for the HE Fest on 23 June
The Higher Education Festival on Saturday 23 June, will take place at the college’s Derby Road campus and will offer both information and fun activities and will include representatives from local universities.
Attendees will be able to discover more about the benefits of Higher Education, learn about how to support an individual through choosing a university, as well as funding and living away from home.
The event, which is being held from 11am to 4pm, will also feature entertainment including inflatable games, a bouncy castle, competitions and music, and will be open to all the family.
Learner recruitment manager Stephanie Hoult said: “People can get the most up-to-date information from a range of universities, including the college’s own university centre. Parents of students-to-be will be able to get all the information they need about supporting young people through university and will help them make an informed decision about the next stage of their learning journey.
“We’re happy to welcome all the family to the event as there’ll be plenty of fun on the day for everyone.”
Tickets for the event are free and can be ordered at hefest2018@eventbrite.co.uk
