Crime and dine at Mansfield restaurant
A thrilling evening of fine food and fun is coming to West Nottinghamshire College’s Refined restaurant next week.
Great food and drama awaits diners at Refined dining restaurant
On Wednesday 17 May, from 7pm, diners have ‘An Invitation To Murder’ at the Derby Road-based restaurant at a three-course event set in the 1920s, hosted by Big Head Events.
Diners will join in the game set in an isolated manor house, where Buntie Berkeley-Hunt, the famous flapper and socialite is hosting a special party, said to be the party of the year. But there is danger in the air, and police have warned of notorious con men operating in the area. Surely nothing can go wrong…can it?
Scenes will be acted out between courses which include asparagus, poached egg, parmesan and truffle hollandaise and brioche or ham hock terrine and piccalilli for starters.
Main course choices are chicken ballotine stuffed with wild mushroom and spinach mousseline with fondant potato, wild mushrooms and peas and shoots, or goat’s cheese and semolina gnocci with spring vegetables, wild garlic and hazelnut pesto.
Rhubarb trifle and coffee and liqueurs complete the dining extravaganza which costs £24.95 per person.
To book a place at this event, please visit www.refinedining.co.uk or call 01623 413629. Diners with specific dietary or access requirements can call the restaurant in advance to make specialist arrangements with the restaurant.
