Aimed at children aged from 7 to 11 years of age, the weekly workshops will be getting youngsters to have fun and be creative with activities such as sewing, painting, textiles, printmaking, ceramics and 3D modelling.
The workshops begin on Saturday 21 April from 10am to 12pm and last for ten weeks and take place at the Derby Road campus. The full cost of the course is £90.
Parents are encouraged to attend a few sessions with their child to help them settle in, but children are then encouraged to work independently with their new group of friends.
There is no formal qualification for attending but students will have the chance to have their own work displayed at the end-of-year show alongside our current college students’ work.
