A seasonal spectacular on stage
Christmas begins next weekend at West Nottinghamshire College’s Create Theatre when Little Pixie Productions bring a winter classic to the stage.
The tale of the Snow Queen, set against an Eastern European backdrop during World War II will be showing on Sunday 4 December from 2pm at the Derby Road-based theatre.
Gerda and Kay are the best of friends and are certain they always will be but when Kay is hit with magic splinters from a shattered mirror, everything begins to change.
Kay meets the dark and mysterious Snow Queen who takes him far away to her distant land of ice.
This children’s favourite brings storytelling, original music and song to captivate the family.
The play is suitable for those aged five and upwards and features two acts over 80 minutes with an interval and festive activities available for children after the performance.
Tickets cost £8 for adults, £6 for concessions and £25 for a family ticket which can be purchased by calling 01623 413363 or by visiting the box office at www.createtheatre.co.uk
