Musical theatre girls give it their all
West Nottinghamshire College’s musical theatre students will be rolling out the songs and scenes from musical theatre shows next week at the Derby Road-based Create Theatre.
On Tuesday (14 June) a cast of eleven females bring ‘Here Come The Girls’ to the stage – singing a showcase of songs from Cats to Chicago, from Little Shop of Horrors to Legally Blonde.
Taking to the stage at 7pm, the students, who have just completed their year 1 and year 2 performing arts diploma, will blast out some real girl power ballads to suit every taste, with plenty of sass thrown in for good measure.
