Specialist open evenings at college
West Nottinghamshire College has two specialist open evenings coming up this month, which will showcase the best of the additional support that it can offer to students.
The first will take place on Wednesday 20 January at the Derby Road campus from 5-7pm.
Potential students and parents can come along to find out more about entry level and Level 1 courses aimed at 16-19 year olds with challenging behaviour and/or emotional difficulties.
The following week (27 January) the Derby Road campus will host an open evening from 5-7pm where parents can find out about the support offered on study programmes for students with learning disabilities and learning difficulties.
Kim Truswell, transition co-ordinator for access and inclusion, said: “The open events will be great opportunities for parents and young people to come along and meet our specialist staff as well as see the college’s facilities.
“People will be able to take part in demonstration classes and get information on all aspects of college life.”
